Photoelectronic smoke detector

There are two types of smoke detector in general use for home smoke alarms: ionization and photoelectronic. These two types of smoke detectors sense the presence of smoke differently. Ionization smoke alarms are quicker to respond to fast-burning fires. But photoelectric smoke alarms, on the other hand, are quicker to react to smoldering fires. Self-Check

It is important to examine your life-saving device at least once a month. Instead of standing on a chair to push the test button from the ceiling- simply click “Self-Check” Button from BeeSecure App anywhere to mitigate all risks that comes with under-performing device, including battery issue, the device malfunction, or connection problem.

Mute False Alarm from the App

You can silence the BeeSecure smoke detector from the app, when it is turned out to be a false alarm or at non-emergency situation. After the “Mute” feature is enabled, the smoke detector will be silent for 9 minutes. If smoke is still detected, the siren will be activated again and notification will be triggered.

Low Battery Reminder

The BeeSecure smoke detector alerts you on your smartphone when its battery level is below 25% and indicate which battery is low and what you need to do. When the detector’s battery is approaching the end of its 10-year lifespan , you need to replace the device. When the ZigBee Base battery is low, replace with official CR14505 batteries.
